## Status of this document

- Draft 2, dated 17 August 2026.
- A working draft written for the site prototype. Content is complete; the only thing pending is
  review by a Chilean lawyer before publication, in particular the framing of the purpose
  regarding information from the judiciary.

## Main points

- The controller is MOTEX CHILE SpA, tax ID (RUT) 78.344.932-3, a company incorporated in Chile, legally represented by Cristian Richard. The address is not published on the site.
- Processing covers data about platform users and personal data appearing in the court files the platform handles.
- Those court files come from information the Chilean judiciary publishes, under the principle
  that court proceedings are public.
- The legal basis for that data is assisting the client — or their lawyer — in exercising their
  right to sue or to defend themselves, in cases that concern them. This framing is Motex's own
  position and is pending legal validation.
- Once the contract ends, the client has 30 calendar days to export case content, account data, and technical usage logs; after that they are deleted.
- Motex does not appoint a data protection officer, a voluntary figure under Chilean law. Privacy inquiries go to cristian@motex.ai.
- Each organization's information is isolated and is never used to train third-party models.
- Data travels and is stored encrypted.
- The client can export or delete their information.
